  • Justin Wiley

Justin Wiley was featured in an article on March 22nd on AL.com.   Justin Wiley is still recovering from a broken wrist, an injury which robbed him of much of his high school basketball season at Ramsay. Even now, Wiley has yet to take an at-bat during the Ramsay baseball season. Justin is a UAB baseball commit,  and makes a strong impact in the infield. Thanks to his glove and sure-handed defense, the senior shortstop is making plays on defense while he continues to recover from the injury, giving Ramsay hope for a late-season run in Class 6A.

    FTA 2016

Ramsay High School Future Teachers of Alabama hosted an "Educator for a Day" activity in observance of American Education Week on Thursday, November 17, 2016. The FTA members spent one school day “shadowing” a Ramsay High School teacher. Students gained a glimpse at a day in the life of a public school educator.

The Future Teachers of Alabama is a pre-professional organization influencing the future of the education profession on the high school level. The organization consists of tomorrow’s teachers concerned about the profession today. Started in 2000 by the Alabama Education Association as a means of attracting the best and the brightest students into the field of education. FTA works to prepare future educators for the profession.
